| Srebrenica video in Toronto |

| With great sadness I always remember the time I was creating the video/music document about one of the biggest tragedies of human kind - genocide in Srebrenica, Bosnia, now 15 years ago. The video was made in 2006 and this year it was shown as a part of the exhibition "Srebrenica: The absence" in Toronto's Gladstone hotel. | A.R.Rahman - The Alchemy festival |
|
| Certainly one of the most amazing experiences in my life was to be a part of the Indian and South Asian festival "The Alchemy" in London's Royal Festival Hall in concert with A.R.Rahman! This full orchestral performance of his film music was presented in a special performance by the London Philharmonic Orchestra and Metro voices choir, conducted by Matt Dunkley. I was honored to be singing numbers from the musical Lord of the Rings as well as films Elizabeth - The golden age and Couple's retreat. I enjoyed every minute on stage sharing the musical magic together with 3000 people in the audience. |

| Long awaited album "Mahaleela" by one of the best Indian solo artists - percussionist Anandan Sivamani was launched on 1st December 2008 in Hard Rock cafe in Mumbai (India). As guest artist Alma is featured on the track "Dancing on the moon". This album can be purchased in all major music stores all over the world.

| LOTR last performance in July! |

| After 492 performances and entertaining over 700,000 people at the London Theatre Royal Drury Lane, "Lord of the Rings" musical will be closing on 19 July 2008. I have had the most amazing time but it was hard work too. It is time to move on although in my heart this show will remain "Now and for always!" |

| LOTR - Galadriel! |
|
| My dream is finally real. I have played the part - Galadriel on the 22nd and 24th November 2007 and for sure these will be moments to remember. I was scared but excited knowing all my dreams came true. The feeling was incredible as I love the part and songs and I will forever capture it in my memory. | Lord of the Rings Cast-album |

| Amazing! We have finished recording LOTR cast album 2 weeks ago and after 6 months of successful run on the stage of Drury Lane theatre in London's West End. It will be indeed special to capture the incredible music by A.R.Rahman and Varttina on the CD and have it as a reminder about this lovely theatre experience forever.. Long awaited soundtrack is out early February 2008 and will be available for sale in the Theatre Royal Drury Lane. Meanwhile our live LOTR journey is continuing 8 times a week.. |

| In collaboration with amazing Indian composer A.R.Rahman, the Banyan theme was created two years ago and it was my pleasure to write lyrics and perform it. Created for "Banyan" organisation in India that cares for and rehabilitates homeless women with mental illness this video was broadcasted all over India in 2006 as a part of the musical "Netru Indru Nalai" - fund raising event. | My new video is now on and it makes me ever so happy to be able to share it with you. It is about the genocide that happened in Srebrenica town on 11 July 1995. I hope all of you watching will appreciate it and for just few minutes try to understand the pain and sorrow, my people in Bosnia and Herzegovina have experienced during the war 1992-1996. This track and video is dedicated to all of them but especially people in Srebrenica and Potocari. |

| Lord of the Rings show |

| With great pleasure I can confirm that in the near future I will be playing in Lord of the Rings stage production in London's Theatre Royal Drury Lane. The biggest theatrical event gathering over 70 actors and musicians will be opening on the 19th June 2007 with previews from 9th May 2007. Since April 2004 up to date I have been involved with the production's promotional events in Toronto and London and participated in several workshops during its development. Now it is extremely emotional and exciting to see it living!
